Finding the right pre-workout supplement for your body and your goals can be difficult. It’s not a skippable struggle either. Using the most potent pre-workout supplements will make your goals more attainable and help you dramatically improve your performance.

To get the most out of your workout, you need to get your hands on something powerful. The right product not only fits your needs, but also has the right boost to keep you strong.

The problem is, there are hundreds of pre-workout supplements out there, and they all claim to be the strongest, most potent, and most effective. Which keep their bold promises of strength?

Over the past few months, we’ve been striving to find the strongest pre-workouts on the market today. We spent a lot of time and money to make sure we could find you the best product out of dozens and dozens of options.

Finally, we’ve narrowed it down to the six strongest contenders – read on to find out.

It was a tough race, but we sorted the best of the strongest pre-workouts. We started with our number one pick, and that’s scary strong.

1. Enormous Enraged Destroyed Supplements

Strongest pre-workout

Without competition, Wrecked Enraged is by far the strongest pre-workout supplement of everything we’ve tried. It topped everything else and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

This product gave us the most intense energy and focus of the bunch, which led to some crazy workouts.

It combines powerful stimulants with nootropics to provide powerful focus and continuous energy. It lasts a good two to three hours, all without the devastating crash when it wears off.

10/10 on the beta tingles, and there’s a real, palpable sense of urgency that will have you ready to smash the weights ASAP.

Taste is not the most important factor in a pre-workout supplement. Wrecked Enraged’s Blood Razz, however, has an amazing sweet flavor and is super mixable – a nice bonus. No medicinal or chalky taste, just a clean deliciousness.

The price isn’t too bad either. Wrecked Enraged is $44.95 for 40/20 servings, or about $1.12 per serving. Although the price may seem higher, it lives up to every word of hype and every penny spent.

If you want the strongest pre-workout supplement, this is the one. Nothing we tested gave us the same punching power we needed to complete our most intensive routines. The endurance it provides is impressive, helping you keep going in the gym even longer.

You can get a jar of Wrecked Enraged from the official product pagebe quick before they run out.

2. El Jefe

El Jefe

Second place is completed with the El Jefe pre-workout. Another highly stimulating supplement that promises high levels of energy and focus. That focus was definitely something we could feel throughout the workout.

It doesn’t hit you in the face with a burst of energy and aggression, but slowly releases over time.

El Jefe also has a decent taste, especially the orange custard flavor. It also comes in Peach Rings, Sour Gummy Bears, and Tiger’s Blood.

While it provides a pretty impressive pump, it’s not as powerful as what we got from Wrecked Enraged, and the mental aspect was a bit more powerful than the physical.

It claims to have around 4 grams of beta-alanine per serving, but we didn’t really notice any tingling.

El Jefe costs $54.95 and makes about 40/20 servings, which also makes it more expensive.

3. The Gulag

The Gulag

The Gulag is a great choice for those looking for above average clean energy. With 250-300mg of caffeine, the most noticeable boost this product gives comes from improved mood. This is ideal for putting you in a focused and euphoric mood.

This boost hits after about 20 minutes and lingers for 2-3 hours before fading away.

It’s not a big hitter, of course, providing more energy for the daily driver. It won’t make you super energetic or aggressive, but it will definitely provide you with sharp focus.

Another downside is the proprietary blend. There are 692mg of ingredients in undisclosed amounts in The Gulag, which can be a huge hurdle for those who want full transparency with their ingredients.

A weird downside was that the spoon was larger than the suggested serving size. To get the right amount of Gulag, users will need to slightly underfill the scoop.

4. MVPre

MVPre

Made by InnovaPharm, MVPre does an excellent job of increasing alertness. With the usual 40/20 ratio, the price of $49.99 is still higher. This pre-workout provides excellent mood enhancements and is ideal for improving High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) performance.

Focusing is good with MVPre – not the best, but it does the job pretty well. There are a ton of flavors on tap with MVPre, and they’re not too bad all around. The roadside lemonade flavor isn’t anything out of the ordinary, but it’s nothing to gag about either.

It claims to increase the pump, and it can deliver that to an explosive extent. However, “explosive” is a good word for it, as we crashed quite hard when the effects faded.

Distribution of ingredients

MVPre divides its ingredients by function matrices.

  • pump ; Performance matrix. Contains Citrulline Malate (2:1), Beta-Alanine, GlycerPump and S7. S7 is a caffeine blend made with green tea extracts and other forms of natural energy boosters. It also contributes to the taste factor.
  • Cogni-Stim Matrix. Contains choline bitartrate, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, caffeine anhydrous, biophytum DC extract (root), N-phenethyl dimethylamine 50mg and huperzine A.

5. Black Bulk Clear Labs

Transparent Labs Black

After landing on the pre-workout scene in 2015, Transparent Labs have made a name for themselves in the form of clean energy boosts.

Like Wrecked Enraged, Transparent Labs’ Bulk Black offering contains nootropics. These nootropics give you that perfect tunnel vision, where you are fixated on your weight and your body.

Bulk Black has some backbone, but the potency levels don’t win any awards here, with most of the ingredient list devoting itself to energy and focus.

There’s no shaking or crashing with this one, but it’s also not as extreme as some others. It’s also $60, which is a lot to pay for something that doesn’t help you push your highest limits.

6. Decim8

Decim8

Decim8 comes at the end of our list of the 6 most powerful pre-workout supplements that helps sharpen laser focus during a workout. It claims it’s packed with so much energy it’ll make you fly, and with all those highly stimulating ingredients, we wouldn’t be surprised.

There’s a powerful sense of motivation with this one that’ll have you ready to hit the gym, aided by a dose of DMHA and Eria Jarensis to make you feel downright euphoric. Because the effect of the supplement

The pumps are solid but not overly impressive. Because the stimulants are so high here, it’s best to take the day off if you’re the type that hits the gym every day.

What We Look For In The Strongest Pre-Workouts

When we implemented this strongest pre-workout ranking system, we needed to create baseline metrics to know how everything was performing. We looked at several aspects. Here are the points we went through:

Energy

The most important thing we looked for when reviewing these pre-workout supplements is energy. For a strong meadow, we expect an insane burst of energy that lasts at least 1h30 to 2h – if not more.

The sense of urgency is part of this energy delivery. It has to give you that need to dive into the gym and hit the weights hard when you get there.

Most high stimulant supplements worth their salt contain caffeine. These are the other stimulants and the type of caffeine that make the difference. The wrong combinations could lead to powerful post-workout crashes.

To concentrate

An energy boost is vital, but even the strongest pre-workouts shouldn’t skimp on focus. We had to notice an increase in focus and overall alertness for something to rank high on this list. Tunnel vision, focusing on the workout and maintaining that focus for the duration of the supplement is key.

Power

Obviously, a strong pre-workout needs punch. We need pre-workout to help us increase our power, allowing us to push ourselves to the max during a workout.

Beta-alanine is a staple ingredient in many of the best pre-workouts. This helps you push past the burn and do a few more reps. When people talk about the “tingling” with beta-alanine, that’s what they’re referring to.

Assess

Of course, in addition to performing well, you want to get a good value for money product. So ultimately we took value into consideration. A supplement is going to be worth a lot less if you don’t get enough for your money. When you buy a supplement, are you getting what you pay for?

We crunched the numbers to decipher the cost of each serving, both from a half scoop and full scoop perspective. Those with the best values offer great benefits with the most economical cost per measure.

What to do before doing a good pre-workout?

A pre-workout is a great addition to your fitness or body sculpting routine. However, you shouldn’t throw a scoop in a shaker without knowing what will benefit you the most. Before taking a strong and potent preparation, there are several things you should do and some research points you should know. Read them below.

Assess your tolerance

Everyone is different, and everyone has blends and concentrations that will affect them differently. If this is your first time out with one of the solid pre-workouts we’ve shown you, we strongly advise you to safely assess your tolerance. This means taking half the recommended serving to see how you react to all the ingredients.

If you feel nauseous (assuming you’ve eaten before), dizzy, nervous, or paranoid, the supplement isn’t for you. Negative side effects aside, some pre-workouts just won’t give you the results you want, and you’ll just have to look for other options.

Consulting a healthcare professional who knows how you train is also a helpful step in ensuring a supplement is right for you. If you’re still getting your legs on the ground with intense workouts, try to find a beginner-friendly supplement and work your way up from there.

let him in

Once you’ve consumed the pre-workout, let it work. Take at least 20 minutes for the ingredients to be absorbed by your body. Do not start training until the product has taken effect. Usually you will start to feel the effects after 20-30 minutes.

Some of the strongest things will intensify over time. If the first half hour passes and you feel like you’re not getting everything you need, give it more time. Some will peak after 40-50 minutes.

Do not take on an empty stomach

We strongly advise against taking these preparations on an empty stomach. This will make him sink even harder.

While this may sound great, it can actually trigger side effects like nausea and headaches, symptoms that don’t make working out all that enjoyable.

No need to put yourself in a food coma before taking it. However, eating fast carbs will do the trick.

Limit your caffeine intake

All of these high stimulation pre-workouts, and many not on this list, contain caffeine as one of their natural stimulants. If you’re doing an intense pre-workout, you need to watch your total caffeine intake that day.

This means you don’t want to consume too much coffee, and today is definitely not the day to slam an energy drink. Otherwise, you’ll end up ingesting way too much caffeine in a day.

Are strong pre-workouts for you?

If you like stimulants that provide power and focus, these are a great choice to use. Make sure you don’t take them 2-3 hours before going to bed, otherwise it could interfere with your sleep and muscle recovery.

Final Thoughts on the Strongest Pre-Workouts

We’ve sat down and done all the hard work for you when it comes to choosing the most potent pre-workout supplements. After weighing our power, energy, focus, and value metrics, we landed on the best of the best.

enraged enraged emerged victorious, absolutely smoking out the competition in every category. This is the strongest and most effective pre-workout supplement we’ve tried, bar none. It is also one of the most cost-effective options, which is another plus. The only problem is that they run out of stock pretty quickly, so if you want to get your hands on a tub; to be fast.

That said, the other options are also good, although Wrecked Enraged outperformed them. They all come with their own lists of pros and cons in how they will improve your workout.
