Muscles can bring an unparalleled presence to the room that speaks volumes. And when it comes to the biological makeup of muscle, it can be hard to learn, from understanding the intricacies of the layers to figuring out the best way to build muscle.
But no matter how awesome muscles can be, fascia is the REAL boss.
Understanding Muscles and Fascia aka “Myofascial Tissue”
So what is one thing you can do to really elevate your muscles? Learn more about muscle fascia.
Although muscles look big and strong and fascia looks relatively small and thin, when viewed individually, fascia trumps muscle from the inside out. Fascia dictates how muscles look, feel and function.
In other words, muscles are the female dog of fascia! True muscle health and mass begins with the microscopic cells located in the fascia around individual muscle fibers
Fascia can limit muscle’s ability to grow

In the photo above, you can clearly see the muscle fascia in the ultrasound images at two different (but crucial) stages. The image first shows what it looks like at the microscopic level before the muscle fascia is released. The second photo shows what it looks like.
*Spoiler alert, fascia work was done using FasciaBlaster tools.

Fascia doesn’t “just” surround muscles like a pillowcase. Visualize a handful of straws. If the straws were individual muscle fibers, fascia would surround each straw. Ultimately this creates a sheath on top, BUT it also creates a web of fascia inside the muscle in every nook and cranny. Each fiber can be strangled by the fascia if the fascia is not healthy. You will look “muscular”, lack definition and be limited in growth potential.
Use FasciaBlasters for Fascia, Period.
Rolling devices are great for providing pressure, but they will “crush” the fascia instead of penetrating it. Percussion guns feel great, but are more meant to “tenderize” muscle and have very little effect on fascia. The only tool proven to truly penetrate and regenerate fascia is the FasciaBlaster System.
If you like a multimodal tissue approach, use FasciaBlasting FIRST, to open deep into the muscles, THEN foam roller, massage, percussion, cupping, etc. And FasciaBlasting is always best done hot, so right after a workout or if you can blast in a sauna, you’ll feel next-level results!

What does the research say?
In published and peer-reviewed science, not only FasciaBlaster course, but it has also been extremely beneficial for: (1. Effects of Fascia Manipulation)
- reduce systemic inflammation
- improve remodeling and collagen production
- promote the eradication of cellulite
- increase Irisin, or the “super hormones”, helping to lose weight and
thermoregulation
- increased metabolic rate
- reduce subcutaneous fat
- increase hair follicle growth and hair count
With benefits like this, it’s time to make your fascia your female dog!
