Finding the right skin care product can be a daunting task. It’s always difficult to figure out which one is right for you, especially when it comes to the most basic ones. No cleanser is perfect for everyone. To guide you further, here are some key tips for choosing the most effective cleanser for you.

Study your face

Look closely at your face and it will tell you everything. You can even make a list to be more complete. If you notice pimples, acne, and texture, that means you need an extremely gentle cleanser that cares for your skin. If you have normal skin with few problems, this means that you can choose products without strict requirements. Your skin concerns may indicate exactly what kind of cleanser you need.

Look for clean and natural ingredients

There’s no two ways about the fact that every skin type benefits greatly from clean products made from natural ingredients. It is best that from an early age you start using natural and clean skin care brands. The chemical additives that most other brands use can have an adverse effect on your skin, especially if continued for a long time.

trial and error

While researching the skincare products that work well for you, there will be hits and misses along the way. Most of the time, you can see what a difference a product makes after using it for about one to two months. Keep an eye on your skin after you start using a new product. If you even feel any abnormality or irritation, stop using it immediately.

Type of cleaners

Facial cleansers come in a wide variety of textures. Many skincare newbies have this misconception that cleansers only come in gel form. There are actually six main types of cleaners available in the market.

1. Cleansing Gel

Cleansing gels are good for cleaning excess oil and removing dirt from clogged pores. Another reason why gel cleansers work for most skin types is their smooth texture that doesn’t usually irritate the skin. They glide well on the skin and eliminate excess sebum. Cleansing gels are great for the main purpose of cleansing the skin. They work for most skin types and are fairly easy to find.

Our choice : Nopal Cactus Cleanser, it is made from natural cleansers like aloe vera, nopal cactus and prickly pear. It is ideal for balancing the pH level of your skin by deeply moisturizing it.

2. Cleansing foam

If you want to feel like the main character while you do your morning skincare routine, foam cleansers are your friend. The fun foam experience can make you feel like a glamorous diva. These cleansers are best suited for acne-prone and oily skin. Not only that, but foam cleansers also work great for removing sticky foundations and concealers. To rejuvenate dull, oily skin, try foam cleansers.

Our choice : Virgin Coconut Moisturizing Milk Foam, a cleansing foam based on soothing natural ingredients like calendula, rose hydrosol and chamomile azulene. It removes dirt, build-up and other impurities while remaining gentle on your skin.

3. Cleansing Cream

People with dry skin make the biggest skincare mistake when they opt for gel or foam cleansers. What they need are called cleansing creams. The consistency of these cleansers is thick and most of them contain excellent moisturizers. These cleansing creams, whose key ingredient is milk, are also called cleansing milks. Cream cleansers are ideal for mature, dry and sensitive skin. But keep in mind that cream cleansers need to be washed off more thoroughly.

Our choice : Cocoa Cream Cleanser, nourishes your skin with its rich and creamy texture. Its natural herbal ingredients such as Ecuadorian cocoa soften the skin and remove all impurities that make the skin drier.

4. Oil-Based Cleaner

Oil-based cleaners are probably not widely known. As their name suggests, they help prevent the skin from overproducing oil. Too much oil can lead to clogged pores and dull looking skin. These cleansers help clean out this oil and prevent the skin from becoming too dry. Oil-based cleansers are also extremely gentle on the skin as makeup removers.

Our choice : Argan Oil Creamy Cleanser is packed with pure natural oils like argan and rosehip oil. The antioxidant-rich acai in the formula keeps skin soft and supple, making it perfect for people with sensitive skin.

5. Micellar cleanser

By now, all skincare enthusiasts know what micellar water is. It is a cleanser specifically used for make-up removal. However, you can also use it to clean superficial dirt from your skin. The lightweight formula of micellar water makes it ideal for daily use. People with sensitive skin can also use it without worrying about irritating the skin.

Our choice : Rose Micellar Cleansing Water is probably the most gentle makeup remover you’ve ever used. The clean, vegan formula helps you remove makeup easily. Soothing floral waters ensure your skin stays hydrated and non-irritated.

6. Clay Cleanser

No at-home skincare day is complete without putting on a clay mask. Clay cleansers are deep cleansers that penetrate deep into your skin to remove buildup of dirt and toxins. These cleansers are best suited for people with oily and combination skin. Clay cleansers are known to dry out the skin a bit, so it’s always best to apply moisturizer immediately after using it. Also, clay cleansers are meant to be used once a week at most. Using them daily can do more harm to your skin than good.

Our choice : Charcoal Clay Cleanser is a powerful cleanser that contains charcoal, an excellent detoxifying agent. It deeply cleanses the skin, shrinks pores and rejuvenates your skin.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cleaners

Are cleansers good for your skin?

Cleansers are the key to getting clean skin. You cannot apply any other skincare product or make-up to your skin if it is not cleansed. In addition, dirty skin easily gets pimples, acne, pimples and rashes. It’s even recommended by dermatologists to use a cleanser at least twice a day for glowing, healthy-looking skin.

What cleanser should I use every day?

Choosing the right cleanser depends on your skin type. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, a cleansing gel or foam is perfect for you. If you have dry skin, a cream-based cleanser will cleanse and moisturize your skin. Most importantly, choose cleansers that are clean and made from natural ingredients like 100% PURE. This is a product that will be used daily which is why it is so important to make the right decision as it will reflect on your skin.

What is a skin cleanser used for?

A cleanser is probably the first product everyone starts using as a pre-teen to take care of their skin. As basic as a cleanser is, it’s actually a bit tricky to find the right one for your specific skin type.
