  • Sabut Kali Mirch or black pepper – 2-4 pieces
  • Jeera or cumin – 1 tsp
  • Water – 4 glasses
  • Jaggery- 1 tbsp

  2. Add the water and all the ingredients to a container except the jaggery.
  3. Boil this water over high heat for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Then add the jaggery and boil over low heat/simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Continue boiling until it is reduced to 1.5 glasses.
  6. Use half a teaspoon of grated ginger to enhance the flavor.
