Since the age of 2, Brittany Weiss was an athlete. As a gymnast, she pushed her body and mind to extremes, which led to her stepping away from the sport after her senior year of high school. She would find joy in teaching young gymnasts, but the competitive spirit never left her. A former Weiss trainer introduced her to CrossFit, and that’s where she found a new outlet and something she could focus on.
The two-time CrossFit Games athlete recently showcased Muscle and Fitness through her daily workout items, which include No Bull Gear, an assortment of work-out snacks, NG Nutra MR46 for recovery, and facial cleanser. Tula to make sure she’s feeling good. its cleaner before going home.
NG Nutra MR46
I’ve been using it for just over three months now and love it. I feel like there are so many different products they carry, but obviously the one I’m wearing is going to help me before, during, and after my workouts. This is loaded with BCAAs, and it just helps my body during workouts, and it also helps me anticipate recovery for afterwards.

BUBS Apple Cider Vinegar Candies
I can’t do the liquid, but the gummies are fine. It’s something I take every day. I normally do this with other vitamins and it’s been a part of my daily routine for quite a while now. I love them!

No Bull Gear
Honestly, I’ve been wearing NoBull for as long as I can remember. Even before I signed with them, it was just sportswear that I liked to wear while working out. I officially signed with them in March of this year. Honestly, what drew me to them was how I felt wearing their clothes while working out. I just feel like with so many different brands I was always pulling up, down or nothing really matched what I’m doing when I’m wearing NoBull. The people behind the brand are amazing and that’s also what drew me there. I’ve been wearing them for over three years. The amount of money I spent on NoBull was insane. I started by wearing their clothes, then I put myself in their shoes. I loved what they were doing, where they were going and what they had planned later.

Wod & Done Thumb Band
Fun story: So after the games this year, I took some time off and didn’t lift or do any high intensity stuff. I came back a month later and did the Rouge Invitational Qualifier and it slipped my mind to tape – I guess because I hadn’t trained or lifted heavy weights. During the big cleanings, I didn’t realize how dependent I was on the thumb tape because my thumbs were destroyed. They were torn and it was so bad. I always find myself putting it on even when I don’t really need it. It’s like a habit now. I use Word & Done and they have grips but I like to feel the bar or have my hand on the bar grips so the thumb band is a must have for me.

2POOD belt
I have had more injuries than I would like. Back when I started CrossFit, I had a really bad back injury, so I spent a lot of time trying to rebuild my core so I didn’t rely on a belt too much. But there are times when I watch a workout and know I need a belt because I know it’s going to blast my lower back and it’s so useful to have. Honestly, if you lift a bit without a belt and put one on, you feel like you can lift 15-20 pounds more and it’s so helpful.

SNACKS (Wilde Potato Chips, Fuel for the Fire, Applesauce)
I’m a big foodie, so I like to eat. These aren’t even all the snacks I normally eat, but these are the best ones I always snack on during my workouts. Wilde potato chips contain so much good protein – they’re actually made from chicken breast. They also contain lots of good healthy fats. Sometimes fats can scare people off, but it’s the healthiest fats that are actually good for you. They’re a little higher in fat, but it’s good fat. Fuel for Fire are really easy to swallow as they come in a pouch and contain carbohydrates and protein. There’s no fat in these, so that’s usually what I’ll drink after a high intensity workout, as I normally take carbs and protein right after. I love applesauce. Small pouches are just an easy delivery system. You just squeeze it and go. I’m also a big Uncrustables fan but they need to be frozen. It’s hard for me because if they’re with me in the gym, they won’t be frozen. It’s something I have when I get back.

Tula Face Care
I might wash my face three times a day because it makes me feel clean, especially after a workout. The gyms are cleaned but there are a lot of people coming in and out all day. When you’re doing burpees and your face is so close to the ground, or you’re sweating and wiping yourself with towels, just making sure my face is clean makes me feel better. Normally, after a workout, I wash my face, pat it dry, and put moisturizer on it. I’m not a girl who wears makeup while working out because she feels like there’s too much on her face. It’s a great thing I do after workouts to feel clean before I go home.

whoop loader
I wear WHOOP all the time. I love data and I love looking at it. If I wake up and I’m not cured, that’s how it is (laughs). I don’t really let it get to me. It’s something I always like to keep charged, so I keep it with me. Watching your heart rate after workouts is just good data to have. You look back and see where your heart rate went up and where could I have tried to stabilize it a bit. I’ve been using WHOOP for about four years. People have tried to get me to try other things, but I like that it doesn’t have a face. I feel like if I had something with a face, I would feel like I was checking it all the time and getting distracted.
